Old faithful
January 20, 2013 by daisy | Filed under boots, grey, Hot Ice.You guys, I hate snow. It’s pretty and all to look at (when you’re cosy and warm inside, that is), but I hate having to go out through it. I actually hadn’t counted on snow until this afternoon-evening, so my breakfast date with my (hugely pregnant) friend was a bit trickier than expected. Since she didn’t dare ride a bicycle through all this slipperiness, we slowly shuffled arm in arm to our breakfast spot instead. Luckily it wasn’t that cold (it’s been way colder last week), so my fluffy navy sweater dress, tights, knee socks and trusty old boots kept me more than warm enough. With a coat, knit hat, humongous scarf and gloves on top, of course. I’m so ready for this snow to be over though. I have an oral exam on Monday 28th for which I have the perfect outfit. Unless it snows, that is. In that case, I have no idea what to wear.

After more than a week of living in jeans and boots, I really started to feel like a slob. The cold really got to me this time, especially since Winter decided to kill my trusty grey boots. [...]
[...] which reminds me of sweet delicious things like icecream and coffee. They are the replacements of my trusty old grey boots, and so far they’ve been living up to all my expectations. They’re elegant, with a good [...]
