Outfit: In which I wear a coat

Look people, I actually wear coats too! I usually take the outerwear off for my outfit photos, but I liked the teal with the blue, so I thought I might as well show you. These hot pink courts from Forever 21 were already saved ages ago, but I like this outfit so much that I just had to take some pictures and share. Yes, it’s just a simple work outfit, but I loved it nonetheless. It’s a pity that the brightness of the pumps doesn’t photograph better.

As you can tell, I still love polka dots and the three-colour rule. I thought the navy, baby blue and hot pink went really well together, even better than I expected them to. I’m generally not such a fan of pastels on me, but I think this cardigan might just be vibrant enough to avoid being too goody two-shoes.

And yes, I also thought I looked rather skinny in these shots, especially considering that we just had the annual massive food fest called Christmas. I firmly believe in giving yourself enough compliments, so yes, on Monday I felt pretty good about myself. (Until Tuesday, that is, when I had an exam and was unable to sleep the night before because of nerves. Don’t worry though, it went fine)
