Winter is holding my cute outfits hostage

I hate the cold, especially the snow. Mainly because I never know how to dress appropriately for this kind of weather. Probably because I mostly own cute summer dresses, and no actual winter-appropriate garments. Which is why I’m currently dressed in a pair of jeans (oh nowez, the horror!), boots and a baggy yet snugly wool sweater-cardigan. And if I were to go out to take outfit shots, I just look like this anyway… Yeay for chunky-knit hats and scarfs! I was hoping to get some good photos tomorrow though, as the boyfriend and I had a little trip planned to the seaside, but it seems that he struck out with yet another flu-cold hybrid and might not even be able to go. Boo! I’m hoping we’ll get through this cold spell and all associated mishaps soon enough, so I can go back to dressing (and feeling) like myself. I have nothing against cuddling up with a good book and a warm blanket this weekend though…
